Citrix Sudio takes over 2 minutes to launch
Enable MMC logging for the Desktop Studio Plug-in:
- Modify the C:\Program Files\Citrix\Desktop Studio\MmcSnapin.dll.config.
- Add the following line:
- Restart Citrix Studio.
- Review the C:\DStudio.log file.
In the following example, a search of the word "failed" led to a one minute delay caused by a timeout of the PowerShell command Get-HypServiceStatus against one of the DDCs.
After rebooting the suspect DDC and running the same PowerShell command, it then presented the following result:
Subsequent launch times for the Desktop Studio console were under 10 seconds.
