Citrix Client Mapped Drives are Not appearing
Symptom
Users are unable to open files, from their session's drives or mapped network drives, with a published application using file type associations.
Cause
1. Citrix Policies may be preventing this functionality.
2. Citrix Workspace App (formerly Receiver) may have this feature disabled by default.
Solution
Citrix Policies:
1. Ensure that Client Drive Redirection is Allowed. This is a requirement for the following settings.
2. Ensure that Client network drives is Allowed.
3. Optionally, ensure that Auto Connect Client Drives is Enabled. Turning this off will hide the client drives when using the published application's Open or Save As dialog boxes. Handy if network drive mappings are also being done in the published application's layer.
Citrix Workspace App (formerly Receiver):
1. HKLM \ SOFTWARE \ Wow6432Node \ Citrix \ ICA Client \ Engine \ Configuration\ Advanced \ \ ClientDrive \ NativeDriveMapping = TRUE (REG_SZ)
