Hide Windows Defender Icon from the Notification Tray

The following steps will essentially hide the Windows Defender icon on non-persistent systems. There are multiple ways of achieving the same result. However, the details in this article is to be done prior to sealing the image.

Windows Server Operating Systems

Clear out the value of the following registry key:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\Windows Defender

Windows Desktop Operating Systems

Go to Task Manager > Startup and disable the Windows Security Notification Icon
